Most busy working professionals feel like they do not have time to drive to a yoga class or even spend time doing a one hour class online. This class focuses on improving your balance, stretching, strengthening and relaxation into only a 30 minute time frame. You can get the full benefits of a yoga class in a shorter time frame.
The class will begin on time! So come five minutes early to get set up and ready to go. The class will end on time so you will have time to eat a healthy lunch and return refreshed to go back to work. The night time yoga classes will focus on helping you quckly get ready to complete your night time routine and get a good nights sleep so that you can be more focused and productive the next day at work.
STRESS CAN SABOTAGE YOUR LIFE AND REDUCE LIFESPAN
Stress causes a multitude of physical diseases, anxiety, depression, addiction, poor eating habits, in addition to reducing the enjoyment of time spent with family, preventing maintenance of close friendships, as well as lost productivity and focus at work.
You don't have to suffer the dangerous life altering and life shortening consequences of negative stress. Yoga is a tool you can use to positively manage stress and taking these classes weekly will help you to lead a happier and more centered life.
The classes will teach you basic Hatha Yoga poses that are gentle yet effective at reducing stress and promoting strength and flexibility. We will begin with simple breathing practices seated in a chair and work on our arms, neck, shoulders, legs, and feet. Then we will do standing postures to balance, stretch and strengthen the body even more.
At the end of the Day Time Yoga class we will do a brief scientifically proven brain longevity and mood enhancing practice. At the end of the Night Time Yoga class we will experience a gentle and relaxing guided meditation to help you wind down from the day and allow you to sleep better.
The goal of both classes is to reduce the effects of work stress on the body and mind. This course is meant to be a practical addition to your life and not something that will just add to an already busy life. You will learn skills you can use outside of class. THERE IS A SOLUTION!
