Supporting Leadership through Clarity, Compassion, and Resilience
In today’s high-pressure professional environments—healthcare, education, government, business, and beyond—leaders are called to do more than manage tasks. They must carry the weight of complex decisions, emotional labor, and constant service to others. This can take a profound toll on the nervous system, the body, and the spirit.
My approach to yoga is designed specifically for those who lead and serve. Drawing from decades of experience in social work, education, and mental health advocacy, I understand the lived realities of burnout, compassion fatigue, and chronic stress. I’ve lived it.
Before becoming a yoga and meditation teacher, I spent over 20 years working in emotionally demanding fields—supporting vulnerable populations, advocating for patients' rights, and teaching in adult education. Like many helping professionals, I was driven by purpose but pushed beyond my limits.
Eventually, the pressure caught up with me. I burned out.
Yoga became my lifeline—offering not only relief, but a deep reconnection to clarity, vitality, and inner leadership. What began as personal healing has evolved into a professional calling: to support leaders and aspiring leaders in building sustainable inner strength and outer impact.

I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Claremont Graduate University, where I was influenced by Peter Drucker’s belief that ineffective leadership is often the root of social breakdown. I bring this lens into my wellness work, offering a leadership model that prioritizes embodiment, presence, and integrity—not just performance.
I believe healthy leadership begins within—and when supported, has the power to transform systems, uplift communities, and inspire a culture of compassion.
In addition to working with established leaders, I offer reduced-rate sessions for trauma survivors, individuals in recovery, and those living with serious mental health challenges.
My passion is supporting aspiring leaders—those navigating adversity with a desire to heal and serve. These sessions are informed by my deep experience in mental health, trauma recovery, and holistic education.
Mind Health Yoga exists to empower the people who hold others up. When leaders are well—emotionally, physically, and spiritually—our systems become more humane, our institutions more responsive, and our communities more resilient.
